Well ... I'm not a ranking type ... I don't really take to lists. So I made a mix instead.


You'll see it does not consist completely of '08 releases ... I didn't really start out with that in mind, it just so happened that along the way I found it very beneficial to revisit some of the '08 releases. I must say, it was a great year for the type of music I am most drawn to. Still, these selections are hardly a "best of" ...



If you like your german minimal nestled among some tuvan throat singing and reverberated beach boys ... well then this mix is for you .......



It starts off with a slow one ... and probably one of my top albums of the year, Brad Barr's acoustic offering, The Fall Apartment ... highly recommended.
